A few weeks ago, the Catherine Violet Hubbard Foundation hosted its second annual Butterfly Party in Newtown, Conn. It was a beautiful day to remember and celebrate Catherine’s kindness toward animals while supporting the important work of the Foundation.
The Butterfly Party is a special opportunity for the community to come together. Hundreds of friends, families, neighbors and animal lovers participated in the festivities by adopting animals, playing carnival games, watching animal demonstrations and enjoying live entertainment.
Hillary Titus and I joined the fun as guests of Jenny and Matt Hubbard, since the Foundation had recruited more than enough volunteers. Before we left, we bought a Cups of Kindness Lemonade Stand Kit for the SmithSolve team to set up right here in Morristown!
It’s a great privilege to help the Catherine Violet Hubbard Foundation team with communication tasks large and small. We look forward to the next opportunity to help fulfill Catherine’s vision and share her kindness.
