    About You
    You are eager to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a team of professionals who are passionate, skilled, and collaborative. You are a leader who can manage multiple client relationships and strategic communication programs from concept through completion.

    Your Day to Day
    The Vice President position drives the success and growth of the agency by managing a portfolio of business, leading and overseeing account teams to deliver best-in-class communication strategies and programs, ensuring profitability across accounts, and securing new business. Day-to-day responsibilities also include supervising the growth and development of direct reports and contributing to the professional development of all staff. Other responsibilities include representing the agency externally at events and partnering with agency leaders to identify opportunities to integrate communication offerings.

    Qualifications
    • A minimum of 12 years’ experience in healthcare communications; experience in pharma, biotech, or life sciences and understanding of drug development and commercialization
    • Agency experience strongly preferred, rare disease a plus
    • Strong writing and communication skills, media relations experience
    • Experience in crisis communications and issues management
    • Experience managing a team of varying levels
    • Healthcare promotion/advertising compliance knowledge
    • Data privacy compliance/regulation knowledge (HIPAA, GDPR), including global standards
    • Proficiency with relevant communication platforms (media databases, wire services, social media tools, project management software, website analytics, Office 365)

    • Demonstrated growth and leadership in management roles with the ability to work well with both senior counselors and junior team members
    • Interest and proven ability to cultivate new business
    • Solid business acumen to support the business priorities of our clients and contribute to the financial success of our agency
    • Proven ability to secure insights on the challenges, needs, and experiences of people living with various conditions and ability to apply insights business objectives
    • Mastery of core communications materials such as news releases, social media content, investor decks, websites, disease education content, video content, remarks/talking points, and others
    • Strong media outreach capabilities and relationships with key healthcare reporters
    • Ability to develop and manage relationships with diverse patient populations
    • Possess a high degree of emotional intelligence, strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, and a client service/relationship building approach
    • Ability to drive, delegate and work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations
    • A passion for impacting the lives of patients every day
    • Awareness of emerging trends in patient-focused drug development

    This position can be remote, flex, or hybrid. Our office is in Morristown, NJ. Travel required about 20% of the time.
